Inviting All Women of St Francis…

Why? To learn how to organize a chapter of Daughters of the King (DOK) at St Francis.

What is Daughters of the King? The Daughters of the King is a religious order where each Daughter takes a lifetime vow of daily prayer and makes a lifelong commitment to service and evangelism in the Episcopal Church.


Who can join? Women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church.

When is the first meeting? Wednesday morning, January 14, 2015 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 noon.

Where? In the church social hall.

What are the requirements for membership? To meet weekly for 3 months to complete the National Study Guide.

When and where are the membership meetings over the 3 months? Wednesday mornings from 11:30 AM to 12:00 AM in the church social hall.

What happens once the 3-month study is completed?  The proposed DOK chapter at St Francis will be instituted by the Diocesan Assembly President in a formal ceremony.

Then what? The new DOK chapter will begin meeting monthly for prayer, study, service and fellowship.
