At St. Francis, children have an important place in our parish family life. We have many ways that we assist children in their faith development.

Sunday morning Children’s Chapel allows children to engage the Christian story at their own level at the same time our adults and teens are doing the same in church as they listen to the readings from Scripture and hear an inspirational sermon.

The Children’s Chapel is conducted in the Parish Hall.

Here is how the logistics work:

PRE-K CHILDREN may be delivered to the parish hall prior to the service for activities before chapel formally begins. They will return at the “Peace.”

K-5th GRADERS should attend Church with their parents and will leave the service with the chapel leader right before the Collect of the Day and before the reading of Scripture. All children will return during the “Peace.”

Note: NEWBORN – 3-YEAR-OLDS are encouraged to be dropped off in our Nursery prior to the service and should be picked up prior to Communion.
