Youth Happenings!

Get ready for some great new things happening in the Youth department! First, Youth Sunday school classes will begin September 14th from 8:45 – 9:30. Brad and Jill Markey, Doug and Michele Smith, and Matt and Kim McCormick will be teaching the class on a rotating basis using a new youth-centered curriculum. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the youth to continue to learn about Christ and grow in their spiritual walk while discussing interesting and timely topics.
Another opportunity for the youth will be participation in the puppet ministry. Cindy Cigrand and Jill Markey will lead this fun and creative ministry which will practice on the 2nd Sunday evening of every month and will perform on the 3rd Sunday of every month in Children’s Chapel. The monthly practice will include dinner and will last from 5:30 – 7:00. Any youth interested in joining the puppet ministry can sign up on Rally Day on September 7th.
Finally, mark your calendars because on every 4th Sunday of the month, the youth will go on an outing. This will be a great way for all of the youth and their Sunday school teachers to get to know each other better, hang out, and most importantly, have fun! These outings may include bowling, skating, movies, or all sorts of things.
