1. Rally Day will be held on Sunday, September 7. Rally Day is our annual kick-off to another wonderful year of Christian Formation programs and ministries. Our VBS children will sing during the church service, there will be fun and games for all ages including water slides – so kids bring your bathing suits. Matt McCormick and Chris Cigrand will be our chefs for the day – cooking up hambugers and hot dogs. And we ask that everyone bring a picnic-side dish to share. Rally Day is also the perfect time to invite a new family and friends and let's all HAVE A BLAST at RALLY DAY 2008!

2. Christian Formation Classes will resume on Sunday, September 14th for Pre-K through Adults. If you can give of your time and talent in becoming a teacher of Christian Formation, please contact Kim McCormick at kmcbasket@opfire.net or Cindy Cigrand at ccigrand@sjgcc.com

3. Our nursery is in need of volunteers to assist on Sunday mornings. Our Nursery Director, Dominique Devine has created a wonderful program for the very young of our parish where they learn, interact and share their own Sunday mornings together. Contact Dominique in the nursery for more information, or call the Parish Office.

4. We ask your prayers this week for the sick and those in need within our parish especially...Alan Jacobs, Fr. 5. Please remember that our Food for St. Mary's drive is held every month. Please pick-up your grocery bag from the welcome cart and return it the Parish Hall no later than the FIRST SUNDAY of each month, so that the food may be delivered to St. Mary's. Thank you for your generosity and support of this important ministry.
